We are getting close to the end of this multi-post topic, and without further delay, lets look at:

Finding the Right Frequency of Submission to Directories

One more important thing you must determine before you begin submitting your site/blog is the frequency of the addition to your website to directories. The frequency depends on several factors:
  • How old the domain is
  • What PageRank the domain has
  • The quantity and value of backlinks to the domain currently indexed by the search engine
Some frequency suggestions

New Domain

New domains also include the sites/blogs that have few backlinks and those that have been in search engine results for 3 months or less. In your first week, make it 8 - 10 directory submissions per day. For the next 7 - 10 days a maximum of 15 then average between 10 and 15 per day for the rest of the time until submission process is done. Again let me urge getting social bookmarking votes, it adds to backlink value and traffic value increases.

Standard Domain

The site/blogs that are less than 1 year old, display in search engine results, have some back links and indexed pages. The best wasy to start is adding to directories with a high PageRank. For the first week of submissions make them 15 - 20 a day, and weeks that follow 10 - 15 per day.

Old Domain
The site/blog that is older than 2 years, have been more than 1 - 2 years in search engines, have internal page indexing and has backlinks from pages with PageRank 3 or higher. There are no special rules here. Its enough to add the site/blog on a consistent basis, but still maximise daily directory submissions to 15 per day.

Please note that there is no ideal method in the majority of cases. You should only remember that the submission process must be conducted in the 'moderate but consistent' philosophy. The worst thing is when someone submits the site/blog to 150 - 300 directories a day with the same title, keywords and description. The site/blog can be filtered by the search engines and may not be displayed for some keywords, or worse yet the whole domain can be banned by the search engine.

Thanks for your time, next post gets into the Manual Submission at long last.

moderation!that's the key you don't want to get banned by link spamming making 20-50 submission daily is a black hat seo strategy and such practice can lead your site to get banned
